INTRODUCTION
------------
FILESUM is a utility for WildCat system operators which creates a
report showing, for each file category, the total number of files
and the total size of the files. It is fast and can handle file
collections larger than four gigabytes. Two versions of the report
are generated: one includes color and the other is plain text.
USE
---
FILESUM is designed to run with WildCat versions 3.50 through 3.60;
it will not work properly with earlier versions. FILESUM must find
the MAKEWILD.DAT file to operate correctly. It searches in the
current directory and all directories on your path. If FILESUM does
not find MAKEWILD.DAT, an error will occur. The syntax for using
FILESUM is simply:
FILESUM
During processing, you may press the Escape key to abort and exit.
Upon completion, two reports will be generated in the current
directory. One of the reports is named FILESUM.BBS; it contains
a color version the file summary listing. The other report, named
FILESUM.TXT, contains a text version.
